I used this software for about a year now and it works perfectly for my needs, however I just experienced a problem when I tried to load a file that had been created on an earlier version of Autocad (2014). Autocad did not recognize that file and would not allow me to open it, even with the latest update (Autocad 2017).

Autocad free is only a demo and it does not seem to have all the features. I was looking for a feature that is present in an older version of Autocad. Also, I thought that it will give me the older version of Autocad but the latest version of Autocad is there. I will recommend this to those who do not use much features of Autocad.
